To be most effective during times of crisis, volunteers must be organized and trained to work in emergency situations and to integrate into the existing emergency response system — before the emergency happens. The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is designed to provide the organizational structure and training volunteers will need to respond effectively. As a Caddo-Bossier MRC volunteer, you'll be assigned duties that are commensurate with your background, skills and expertise. You'll receive training in emergency management, terrorism response and disaster medical operations.
