Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training Scheduled  (2/17/2010)
  Do you know what to do if a tornado is approaching your home? Are you interested in learning how local emergency response agencies work together in local disasters? The Caddo-Bossier Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management will be offering a free twenty hour Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training course at the Shreveport Fire and Training Academy starting April 6, 2010 and running for three additional Tuesday nights from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Participants must be at least 18 years of age and all training material including a light rescue bag is offered free of charge. NIMS 300-400 Class Canceled  (6/15/2009)
  As of June 9, 2009, CB-OHSEP has only received three confirmed students for the NIMS 300-400 Class which is far less than the required number expected by GOHSEP to have an effective course. Disaster Preparedness Training for Large Facilities   (6/4/2009)

Questions and Answers on Swine Influenza  (4/27/2009)
  What is swine flu? Swine Influenza (swine flu) is a respiratory disease of pigs caused by type A influenza viruses that causes regular outbreaks in pigs. People do not normally get swine flu, but human infections can and do happen. Northwest Louisiana Colleges and Universtities Receive Emergency Training  (1/7/2009)
